We’re immensely proud to be supporting our two charities for this year.
Marshfield Primary School PTA
The Marshfield Parent Teacher Association do an amazing job supporting our local Marshfield Primary School
They are a very supportive dynamic group who work hard to raise funds to benefit the school. The PTA contributed £10000 towards the ipad trolley of 32 ipads and has recently contributed £7500 towards the new junior playground equipment.
Marshfield Cricket Club
The cricket club is key resource within the community. As well as a being a thriving competitive club in the league, the MCC support a massive initiative to support youth cricket to the village and surrounding area.
The club will shortly be embarking on a project to rebuild the aging pavilion. Once completed it will be a much needed great live venue to support local music and arts in the area. To find out more goto..
Marshfest is not a profit organisation- every last penny of money earned goes back to our charities, and we’re always looking at ways to save money. We rely heavily on the help and support that is offered by our beautiful volunteers. We simply couldn’t do what we do without them.
If you would like to be part of the MarshFest buzz, we’d love to have your help to make it happen, whether that be scanning tickets on the door, setting up, or ripping down the site- we’d love you onboard
Please do get in touch if you have an hour or more to spare on or around the 7th September. Just drop us a line on our contact page https://marshfest.co,uk/contact thanks so much!
Marshfest is a not for-profit organisation. Every last penny of money made goes back to our charities. We don’t carry any cash over to the next year so every year we have to work from scratch – at not inconsiderable risk to our credit cards!
Apart from making sure you have the tickets before they sell out, buying online gives us that much needed cash flow. The more we have in the coffers before the event, the more we can give to charity and also ensure we can deliver the quality event that you expect.
We have a well tested wet weather plan, so rain or shine – we’re on!
So please, if you know you’re coming, please book now! https://marshfest.co.uk/shop
Jess , Nigel, Guy and James are once again heading up the Committee for 2019. We wish to thank Lee for all his help last year- we’re eternally grateful to still be benefiting from the fruits of his hard work.
If you need to contact the committee, either message us on the facebook page or use the contact form at https://marshfest.co.uk/contact.
We are thrilled to welcome Bath Spa University production crew students to Marshfest 2019. The second and final year students have been offering their amazing energy, enthusiasm and expertise to give Marshfest more than a splash of the professional for this year, which you will see in evidence all around the site.
This partnership is a new and exciting initiative for the University and Festival alike, and we’re looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship
A massive thanks to Jim Creed and his team at Powerline who will be supplying power for Marshfest. Without Jim’s help the festival simply could not go ahead, so we are ever grateful for his contributions and support
Powerline are Generator hire & temporary power specialists, providing solutions for live events, outside broadcasts, and festivals since 1999 – https://www.thepowerline.co.uk/
We’re so lucky to have such a greal local company onboard

MarshFest promises fun for all the family. Our children’s entertainment line up includes Balthazar’s Bubbles, amazing feats of bubblecraft with the chance for kids to try their hand at creating giant bubbles themselves; Chuffy the ride-on train who will once again offer fun-filled tours around the site and the ever-popular Circus Tent, where anyone can learn how to walk on stilts, juggle colourful scarves or master the diabolo amongst other things.
Bath’s award-winning The Makery will be back with their brilliantly popular hands-on craft tent, offering family-friendly projects such as festival headbands and colourful wands to complete on the day. The Wiltshire Bee Centre will be back giving everyone the chance to see live bees busying themselves in the Observation Hive – fascinating to see them at work safely behind glass. And their bumbly mascot will be buzzing around the site offering bee selfies (belfies?!) Don’t miss our brilliant face painter who will transform children into a creature of their choice, be it unicorn or superhero. Or why not take a wistful wander through the magical, mystical enchanted forest and see what you’ll discover.
And when you’re ready for a bite to eat there are plenty of options including stone-bake pizzas; a choice of noodles from our noodle bar, snacks and drinks from our tuck shop and burgers from our barbecue. Take a look at our Food and Drink section for full details.
